  • Donna, at the end mimicked Maxine's voice so well they didn't have to dub Maxine's voice....

  • @naeema that was Donna Douglas. Maxine Stuart provided only the voice.

  • I loved her character Louise on the Hazel episode#18 of the 1st season and the comment she makes about a Mrs Forbes-Craigie and a Brookeline Burke !!!

  • Eye of the Beholder was my all time favorite Twilight Zone episode.

  • @elmolewis1 She was the one in the bandages. The one whose voice we hear throughout. The lady at the end was played by model/actress Donna Douglas, better known as Ellie May Clampett from "The Beverly Hillbillies."

  • She was Helene Hanff's best friend. Wouldn't it have been great if Helene had still been around to be in this interview? Wow. They knew the theatre when it was the theatre - when one of the biggest events in NYC was any new Broadway show.

  • a class lady, not like the arrogant false type of today.

  • Was she the woman wrapped in the bandages? Because the the episode "Eye of the Beholder" they used two different woman. ONe wrapped in bandages and the one at the end after the bandages were removed.

  • looks like she had a left side stroke?

  • Ahhh, she's adorable!
