  • Debra just sang at Arrogance New Years show a couple of nights ago. Terry and and Jack still play in a Raleigh, Nc band called The Olympic Ass Kickin Team, or OAKTEAM for short. They're playing Jan. 8, 2011 at the Berkeley Cafe in Raleigh, NC if you see this in time. Opening for Jason and the Scorchers.

  • OH MY G_D!!!! I still love Debra So Effing Much. Wish I could still be seeing the Knobs two or three times a month like I did from 79 to 83. I am heartbroken about David. I love the Woods and Terry and I know I should probably be talking about Arrogance but I was knocked out by DeMilo. Here's hoping Debra will make a comeback after her family is all settled just like Patti Smith did.!!! Love to Comboland.

  • Excellent!!! Music in the Raleigh, NC area from the late 70's to late 80's was the best in the country.

  • Listening to Combo on 365, but would like more early 80s please!

Almost forgot to mention The X-teens, Doc Holliday, The Snap and the many versions of Rod. Many had record deals but no label support - others not deals but they were all great and the record execs then must have had mud for brains. Crap like techno pop and the first stages of rap was clogging up the airwaves and effectively killed radio. It never really recovered from the abuse. A shame, this stuff could have made a difference.

  • Oh my, this brings back great memories! From Richmond, Va to Atlanta, Ga and all points in between there was some incredible music the world missed listening to junk pop and rock in the 80s. Arrogance, Glass Moon, Nantucket, PKM, The Knobs, Rik Rock, The Producers, Robbin Thompson Band, The States, Mother's Finest, and so many more were simply excellent. Good music, excellent musicians, just nice people too! The LP Mondo Montage was an excellent start at getting the word out - I still play it.

  • Love it !!!!!!
