Scott Brown won with almost 52% of the vote. He defeated Martha Coakley by about 300,000 votes. I voted for Scott Brown because he seemed to get it that we are not trees made of money, and Coakley implied that Catholics who oppose abortion should not work in emergency rooms, and also the Shilling being a fan of the damn Yankees!, that just floored me.

Scott Brown will be getting alot more help
out of Massachusetts in November...For the 1st time in a long long time 9 of
the 10 peoples seats for U.S. Congress in Massachusetts have contests. At least
27 contenders are in to challenge the one party holding onto all the seats.

If you just listen to a small portion of your party base, you won't win. There is a growing movement for personal liberty that spans party lines. Who cares about personal liberty issues, let people or states make up their own minds. Why be controversial and invade personal liberty. There are more important big financial issues to focus on
