However, I will say that for the avg consumer the knock off brand doesn't feel different enough to justify the big price tag difference that tempur demands. Tempur-Pedic also trys to bully the retailers, they have threatened us many times to pull their line from our stores if we keep reducing the price on their product because it "devalues the tempur line". I can tell you right now that if you want to wheel and deal on a tempur your better to go get a Direct buy Membership and get it there.

They will retail anywhere from about $1400-1999 cnd dollars for a queen set(thats including a box spring). If you can pick one up for about $1200-1300 you've done really well. I will say that I am in the industry and as far as the memory foams go Tempur-Pedic is still the better quality(better base foams and higher avg densitys) The visco foam inside is open cell so it breaths better than the made in China brands.
