Annette Funicello "How Will I Know My Love?" Commercial

In 1957, just before her 'rock n' roll' days, here's Annette ("That Mouseketter that grew up" as Stan Freberg referred to her) singing a cute little harmless number!! I like this song, but anyone who really knows me knows that I have a weakness for Disney rock n' roll, and Annette was one of my favorite pop-rockers!!

There was the version from the serial "Annette" and then there was the studio version with back-up voices and no mouth harp. There is a version posted on You Tube listed as MMC version but its really the studio version and this is the TV show version. I know the song popped up on a couple albums so it might have been recorded even more than that. The TV show performance got so many letters that it caused Walt Disney to sign Annette to a recording contract. The rest is history.

Thanks so, so much for putting this on youtube. I have a memory of loving this song when I saw it on TV in 1957 (even remembering some of the words). I was about 10 years old. I haven't seen it since. It's fun to see the film clip. It seemed different than my dim memory, but it has been so many years.
