First there were Free Hugs. Now there are Bee Hugs for everyone! But what if there were no bees left to hug? Colony collapse disorder is causing bees to disappear in droves. And if they go, we all go. Umbra,on her best bee-havior, talks with New York City's Bee Manto get the buzz on how we can all help -- then takes to the streets for some honey-lovin' hijinks.

  • The bees and agriculture are still in danger!

  • this is really old news and they fixed the problem and found that is was a certain pesticide that killed the bees. it's okay everyone. no need to let the media control your paranoid minds anymore.

  • I don't want bees to die out and I agree that CCD is a catastrophe, but I don't agree with "if bees go, we go" - is that scientifically accurate? Bees aren't necessary for pollination of major grain crops, corn etc. Bees are mainly used for pollination of fruit crops etc. Bees didn't even exist in the North America until they were imported by Europeans. The Native Americans referred to them as the "white man's fly".

  • You're right,Umbra. I agree with you ,we should take care of bees. Don't let they go.

  • Holy shoot. I'm in this video. o_o

  • LOL. Bee hugs. Very cool

  • This is so cute!

    Also, a serious topic.

If Bees die out, it can ruin the ecosystem!

  • It's clear what all the buzz is about - this is an incredible video!!
