CGRundertow SAMURAI SWORD DESTINY for Nintendo 3DS Video Game Review

Samurai Sword Destiny review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Samurai Sword Destiny from UFO Interactive for the Nintendo 3DS. Samurai Sword Destiny is an eShop exclusive. Evidently, someone at UFO Interactive is a fan of the Wii classic Muramasa: The Demon Blade, because Samurai Sword Destiny is like a cover band trying to play Muramasa's hits. Samurai Sword Destiny is paying homage to the spectacular visuals of Vanillaware's title, only substituting the game's art style with a more cartoon like aesthetic. The effect is a game that looks similar to Muramasa in style and tone, but not necessarily in execution. Unfortunately, the same Muramasa lite approach was taken to its gameplay. Samurai Sword Destiny is a decent game, but it pales in comparison to its main influence. I mean, Derek said the game's 'one move' mechanic was annoying and subpar. So... What's REALLY the problem here?
