My Minecraft is stuck on the "done loading" screen or the "updaiting screen" which ever you prefer, i did exactly what you did.

I'mhaving the same problem as googoo511 and i DID delete my META-INF folder. I then unstalled, and reinstalled Minecraft (after backing up those precious saves of course). I then Reinstalled all the mods I had, which was actually only one; TooManyItems, after I installed Buildcraft. Still BSOD in my Java environment.
