Ment to be very very rare.

@Anarkissed23 The service probably died on him before he could play baseball.

@WebVMan this was around 1985, I was like 5 years old and kurisux is right, I think this was because of the video game crash at the time and things were getting liquidated. Years later I scored the same deal at KB Toys on the sega master system. I think those games were like 10 bucks. I played most every game system, just not when they first came out, shoot, I got Ataris outta the trash, I even scored the one with the keyboard built on it with popeye and james bond to boot. Those were the days!

$2.99? You can barely find comics for that price now. Good deal. Then again, you can find PS2 games for $1.99, so I don't know. How long ago?

That really is Intelligent Television!

Pretty interesting at how primitive the thing was. The impression was that it actually responded interactively but it actually just broadcasted all game codes at the same time in a large script and then just waited until the one you picked came along. On a side note...that kid creepily resembles a young Waldo...

It was during the crash: games could be had for next to nothing back then.
Not like I remember though: I was born in early 85, so the NES was right around the corner... >_>
