How do you tell the tale of the guy
Who conquered what no one wanted to, wanted to beat?
No one will listen to something uninteresting
Your story's not about them and they're busy trying to eat

They think "So what if this weirdo climbed up some mountain,
Battled some dragon and saved some fair maiden?
I've heard it all before, savored and hated it
Loathed it, cherished it, loved it and done it all.

Well what is an average person like me

Worth talking about? Worth wondering about?
How can I be what's meant for me
When nobody's there to offer their hand

Stop testing me, stop judging me

What's with these people who point and laugh
With their looks of condescension and jibe
So what if other people aren't perfect
News flash: neither are you!
