  • I was wondering I bought a external drive - my DVD Drive broke in my computer. SO is there a way I can make a External DVD Drive, Internal? Please reply thanks.

  • @IchigoRukia09 which model is it?

you should be able to open the case and take out the drive

  • In case anyone was wondering, the product he's using is on a site called DealExtreme (hong kong retailer) add search sku.10113 for the product.

At time of posting it costs 12.55 USD including free shipping.

Enjoy and I hope it works for you too cause I'm considering purchasing it for my x200.

  • @hung2well ad

  • Could also rip apart an old external HDD and hook it up to your DVD drive. Did it myself and it works perfectly.

  • Hey mate, I got an SH-D162D and am trying to use it as an external. When I start XBC everything seems to be going fine but, with reference to your 'How to Backup Xbox 360 Games [Part 1]' video, I get exactly the same info as you did in the READ tab but the start button is greyed out. Do you have any idea whats going wrong?

    Cheers.
