@ravedisc Yes all the high voice rumours were total rubbish. He had a deep rich voice.
The stories started I think because in those days all the Italian peplum epics were dubbed, regardless who was in it. They were cheaper to make that way.
I agree that Steve Reeves was an inspiration. A truly remarkable human being!!!

One of the most inspiring person I have ever seen. For people telling his voice was high pitched, they should listen some of his interviews, his voice was very deep. What a kind person he was despite his incredible success. He remained normal.
