Also, while I do not think abortion should ever be used as birth control, I think Palin's stance that it should never be an option, even in cases of incest and rape is quite extreme. And I also don't really care that my mother didn't abort me, because if she had, I wouldn't have ever existed, (at least not in a cognizant form) so I wouldn't even know what I was missing.

Obama has very clear plans, including lowering the taxes of middle income earners more than McCain's plans would. Obama just doesn't plan to lower the taxes of the highest earners. Sarah Palin is not a reformer, and she will not fight corruption. In fact, she's quite comfortable overstepping her bounds (book banning attempt). We don't need, as a nation, to take a step backward. We are anti-intellectual enough, often hostile toward science, and skeptical of people with higher educations.

let's be honest here, palin and hilary are both strong, intelligent women but they have completely different views. the fact that you would vote for them just because they are women, is ridiculous and such an ignorant statement. i respect both of them, and i don't care who you vote for but don't vote for gender, vote for the issues.
