Something i think these people failed to see even though they pointed it out in a way saying that harp seal pups have a fluffly white coat yet in all three of these videos i did not se one fluffy white seal get clubbed or killed in any maner now that may just be that the footage is of other seals but still all the seals i did see get killed were adults and the other thing is that fro some of those seal hunters that is thier main sorce of income

Stay out of Vegas man, I'm an agnostic theist. I'm all for adults knocking boots with whomever, whenever they want. Now, as for rules, yeah I believe that morality is very much like natural law. Just like it's inconceivable to imagine a world where up and down are the same, it's inconceivable to imagine a world where it's both wrong and right to end life unnaturally for convenience.And everyone wants to influence other peoples lives, that's the ultimate goal in ending this brutalizing of seals.

You haven't shown where I am in error saying that humanity isn't defined by pain perception,but here's a quote from a review in the Journal of The American Medical Association,"Evidence regarding the capacity for fetal pain is LIMITED but indicates that fetal PERCEPTION of pain is UNLIKELY before the THIRD TRIMESTER."And from the University of Birmingham, School of Psychology "Neurobiological features that develop at 7, 18 and 26 weeks gestation suggest an experience of pain in utero."

I'm not going to debate too much into the wide subject, but I bet you're a christian who believes that people shouldn't have sex until after marriage. In that case you'll not have too much to worry about.

But think that there are people who don't believe in your god, and don't follow the same rules you do. In those cases your expectations don't apply to them.

There are many good things you can do without trying to influence other people's life. My advice is to stick with those.

Making seal abuse illegal would stop them from suffering, so you would ban a wicked way of making money in order to save them. I think it's fair enough.

Making abortion illegal would force people to give birth in order to "save" a fetus that YOU think it can feel.

You see the difference? If my gf/wife gets pregnant by mistake and abortion is illegal we will be forced to have the baby so YOU can feel better about yourself.

We should strive to make laws less restrictive to liberty. Reproductive rights should be guarded, within reason. The question is, which right is more important, life or reproduction? Now the argument that it is better to be aborted than to have a difficult life, I bet if you asked 100 sane people who have had hard lives if they would prefer to have been aborted you would hear a universal no. And about forcing my beliefs on others, wouldn't outlawing seal abuse be forcing your belief on others?
