What really upsets me about this man's actions is that he was risking the bear's life as well. If the bear had attacked him, the bear would be killed. Brainless selfish jerk.

what a stupid way to get yourself killed, for a photo?
-
Brave man or foolish?
-
He was wearing brown clothes and being really still - the bears must have figured he was just a huge pile of shit (and rightly so).

@glenny251 exactly right and the way it should be. If you are bahaving as ignorantly as these two in this video and end up food, not the bears fault at all. You will, and should pay the ultimate price, not the bear. After all, it is just being a bear.
Every park these days is plastered with signs telling you not to do exactly what these people are doing.

And when the bear attacks, the bear is the bad and has to be killed... That moron shouldnt get off of his car...
-
This is EXACTLY how people end up dead.

Did you notice the front of his t-shirt ?
It says, " SPIT ".
" Suicidal Photographers In Training ".

bears life=screen saver..........in this knuckle heads eyes.
Was in Y-Stone many years ago watching a band of
female Buffalo & calves crossing a road on side of a hill.
Old Jerk in a Mercedes drives up and begins laying on
his horn while still moving ! Calves panicked and began
slipping on the tarmac, could see their eyes bulge out!
None were hurt but wished one of the Big ones would
have Gored the crap out of Rich Fools car ! Also
wish had a rock in hand.....

I doubt they would have killed the bear for protecting her young. They don't do that. That man is a flipping moron

Actually, they DO do that. Or so they said repeatedly there at Yellowstone. Once a bear gets a taste for people, the bear usually wants more.

@christinestephens Hi. Maybe thats the case there in Jellystone. Not here in Canada. Here if someone is attacked by a bear it is investigated. If its determined the bear was just in protect mode it is let go. maybe they just tell people that in Jellystne to keep them away. You have to admit that guy is nuts for getting so close. But then again these are habituated bears, Kinda sad actually.

Hi there. I prefer the Canadian way. Generally :) Agreed on the sad part.
