Uprising USA is my first novel, and it's the first of a 4 book series. It's available from Amazon.com in paper back or Kindle. Nook as well, for you B&N fans.
Uprising USA is not your normal Zombie book. The characters are all people I actually know... and it's written in the First Person. I am the lead character in my own book. This didn't start out as a gigantic ego trip. It started out as a simple "What If" question that I answered in the form of a short story. This short story kept rolling and rolling. Then other Writers jumped in and their Shorts became long as well. Pretty soon, we realized we had actual book length works and Uprising USA is just the first to break out into Print. Others are coming. This Uprising story continues around the world and USA is just the first.
Uprising: UK is going to be published around thanksgiving time (2011). Uprising: Russia is being written now. Uprising: China is where the story goes afterward.
There are also other Uprising books coming out by other Authors. There will be about 10 to 12 books in total, including an Anthology.

The Zombies in Uprising are not your normal Zeds. They start out like that, but then we throw a Supernatural twist into it that will get bigger as the series progresses. Some guys really dig that supernatural complexity... Most do. A few people don't. That's fine.
I also explain exactly how the biology of a zombie can work. In fact, in writing this, I consulted with medical professionals about this and had them review it. Their conclusion was that "I'm a really scary motherf___er". Take that for what you will.
I am looking forward to promoting the other writers works because quite frankly, I think some of it is much better than my own. Much like George Lucas, I created this Zombie-Verse and better writers are adding the real meat. I can live with that. I already live on Ogre Ranch.

I live in Vernal and he's out in SLC... Which by the way gets a MOAB bomb dropped on it. Which is something I want to do every time I have to drive out there.
