, i don't know how to drum but i'm trying use your videos to learn for use in a church. I've always wanted to play the drums but never had the opportunity, when I saw that the church had no drummer had to swoop in..
but my question is since the drum set pieces are scattered how do i arrange the drum set pieces. And why do ur cross your arms? Is that a necessity? can't i just use the nearest arm, i don't have a drum to practice with so i just use stacked books

@childofconvenant You don't have to cross your arms. That is called playing "open handed" and there are advantages to that style. Try it both ways and see which works best for you. Search for vids about setting up drums. There are some detailed ones out there. I think it is awesome that you feel drawn to learn drums to help out your church. I really hope it goes well. Stick with it and God bless you.

@dchem12 Message me through youtube with your email. I will point you to Tabtrax for the free version of the program and then a file of this beat. It is my favorite practice tool.
