  • FCP 7 has ctrl-V for split at playhead, I use it so much I mapped it to V.

  • @stereoscopisch = ] thank you lol been wondering.. thats def going to use that when editing in fcp7

  • im pretty positive FCP7 had command-B

  • @whyxxxtry Nope it doesn't just checked there is no command for it Command B creates a new bin.

  • @AfroPenKid okay maybe that was express i used that in

  • @whyxxxtry express has the same shortkeys so it probably was iMovie or something.

  • Hey good video, one question, how do u see the audio track and add other audio/video tracks like you can do in final cut pro 7? thanks

  • hey if you have 3 clips stacked in a line and you hit command B in fcpX will it slip all 3? cause i don't music videos and i hate on fcp7 have to go splitting all the clips every 3 seconds after i syncing all the music with all the clips. please write back or inbox me.

  • which is better FCP 7 or this?

  • Good video.

  • @whyxxxtry Sorry, wasn't command-v, but CONTROL-v !

  • @whyxxxtry in FCP7 it was command-v to "add edit" so this was pretty much the same
