to..... DO A BARREL ROLL!!

@hiodr You can't "change your destiny" if you're an honest Christian. Thus is the paradox of Omniscience. If God knows everything, he knows an absolute set future, therefore he must also know our exact actions ahead of time. So there cannot be a change of destiny. It would deny God's knowledge.

The goal of life is to live a good life, and serve God in your life, so you will be granted Eternal life of nothing but happiness, peace, and a perfect beautiful world where shame, pain, misery, all things terrible do not exist.

A good reason to want an afterlife is suffering. The idea that suffering does not go unrecognized and that the actions of this life are ultimately meaningful in a real sense and not just in a personal way.
-
I guess one cant answer that question in this life. maybe if someone knew what was in the after life they may want it... Actually there is no such thing as afterlife but an exstention of this one..

@hiodr Ooooo ad hom. So intimidating.
-
@LucasI3434 hey lucas-get stuffed, crap for brains.
-
@hiodr If you were actually aware of that you wouldn't be a Christian. So it still makes you dishonest. Either that or an idiot.

@LucasI3434 i am aware of this. i was speaking to the unregenerate in terms they might relate to.

Why> I think that the idea of our entire existence ending in a split second scares some, so the afterlife "ensures" the survival of it.
@soulwarrior77 been there done that .. i used to be a servent of god .. then after reading the bible for the first time i was ready to kill myself .. i went through many hardships before i left the religion and it was a very long stuggle .. plus eternal life .. in paradise or in torture . is torture to me
ive asked christians to try and make me believe again ... so far none have completed that task
