You should have just broke it's nack that is the easyest way o here is a way if you have a bow and a arrow and string get the string and tie it to the arro and shoot the gar the the arro and string and my dad saw some guys doing this it works

lols I may have overstated myself lol,nah they eat the fish around here that i was wantin to eat,and it aggravates me when i think iv got a good striper on and its a gar,so i usually just oar and release em.

what did they do to you ? i hear they can be destructive to certain habitats, but the chickahominy is very well balanced and offers trophy fish of many species. doesn't seem to be any ill effects from the gar population. oh wait ... are you referencing metallica !? >:)
