I wouldn't say that its for 'show' only, like you pointed out. The mechanism makes the game-play easier and more fun to play -- especially since the shooting button (R1) is linked to the trigger.

That's a bummer that there's no motion sensor in the gun controller. Looks like the Wii version is a better bet for now.

whats the point in having a controller that looks like a gun but you still have to use the joysticks to aim? something went wrong in research on this idea

there is no aiming with it, it doesnt really feel liek ur in the game, it would be better with the normal remote instead,

The cta gun controller is str8, I got two last year, its no PS move but its fun tho. I ended up only using one. Im selling it for $35 plus $6.99 for S&H, if anyone is INTERESTED! Just hit me up on a message. Its brand new , never used.
