Doing it in high speed actually holds peoples attention better and keeps people from getting bored.

Love your vids, they seem to help me a lot! I have only been welding for 5 months (Only an hour a day) and i'm already way better than my teacher lol. He says i have a natural born talent for welding!

Freddy:
I am interested in this video of how you make these shapes. What gauge metal do you use to make these shapes? Do you have a picture of what the finished robot looks like? What is the purpose of the bar that connects that one sculptured piece? Thank you. Jim Carr Pittsburgh, Pa

Great video, I like it sped up through the parts like that, it would be deadly long otherwise. Good "tutorial", LOL when you kick it at the end. I'd like to see the the finished thing though.

Funny that you are doing the head on the vid. I will be doing the head on my giant killer robot project soon. Not quite sure how yet. How come you don't use mig, just curious. Great vid. Keep up the good work man. Check my vids you may find it interesting.

I notice you don't hold your plasma cutter Exactly 90 degrees to the metal being cut. This causes excess wear on the electrode and gives a cut that is less clean. I used a PC 15 yrs, daily, cutting 40' containers(doors, windows, T-vents, etc). Otherwise, good work.

I love stick welding also :D
Im finally getting a helmet soon so I can start making sculptures :D

thanks dude. your vids are great. I know nothing about welding, but wanna make metal sculptures. got lots to learn.
Could i use this harbor freight arc welder to fill in a lot of riveting holes in an vintage race car body? and could it be done relatively cleanly? because the welding wouldn't be covered up with interior carpeting when the car is done. i am debating whether trying to fill the holes myself or calling a professional for more money than 149$ +mask/goggles+ welding sticks (i don't have any experience in welding, so do you think the task is manageable with the right equipment?)

@SpiderWrangl3r This is not the harbor freight arc welder. This one also has tig and plasma cutting and is a different company. thats a big question but I need to ask you some questions. How much is your time worth? do you want to learn welding for anything else? Can you use fiber glass or bondo? You can for sure do it but not right off the bat. You will need to practice and fail lots before you will be able to do it. There would be grinding and sanding. but if you want to learn welding. yes.
