On this drill, I am showing how easy it is to transform your Eskrima training from using a stick to a long bladed weapon to a knife to empty hands. There might be a slight variation as to actual applications, but a serious practitioner can easily see what I am talking about. The bottom line is that practicing Eskrima will enhance your hand, eye and foot coordination and will make you a much better martial artist in any other system of martial arts.
Of course, constant practice is the only key to becoming a much better practitioner of any martial arts. Overall, I would rather you become a well rounded person, than a well rounded martial artist. To become well rounded in both, you must live a balance life, respectful of others and of course follow the Golden Rule. Part of being well rounded also involves nutrition and mental health. Mental health means that no matter how bad the situation is right now in your life, always think it will pass and things will get better. For private one on one lessons or group seminars anywhere in the world, email me at VCavada@aol.com or message here at Layogtabay. We also have a course via the Internet . Start learning Eskrima today or add Eskrima to your other knowledge of other martial arts. Remember also an old saying: Be nice to everyone specially the helpless and needy ones, on your way Up because they are the same people you will meet on your way Down !! In other words: Follow the Golden Rule always in your daily lives. Take care for now . Master Virgil
