The exquisitely balanced governmental system is lopsided and failing primarily due to changes in the U. S. Constitution and Congressional law. The challenges, much to the chagrin of all 21st Century popular movements, from Organizing for America to the Tea Party Express, are not correctible by a populist movement unless the Republic's cancer, a constitutional amendment and a simple public law, is CUT OUT. They are a plague on America and the cancer in the tri-partite system.

The government of the people, by the people and for the people can only be restored by the repeal of the 17th Amendment that stripped States of their U.S. Senate stewardship and ability to check the Federal Government.
The Cure also requires the repeal of Public Law 62-5 which fixes the United States House of Representatives at 435 members. Public Law 62-5, by limiting the number in the House of Representatives, has stripped the people of their representation in Congress handing it over, like the States did the U.S. Senate, to PACs, 527 Organizations, the media and multi-millionaires.

  • I DEMAND REPRESENTATION FOR MY TAXATION!

  • if you fucks didnt want a war -- don't start one. You fucks started the war - from 1820 on. Not just Fort Sumter. You shit on free speech and free press from 1820 on, you didnt allow real elections. You invaded other states and territiries to kill and terrorize to advance slavery, you hung voters, threatened the capital, ect.

Do that shit and we will kick your ass again. Don't start shit then cry about getting your ass kicked.

  • BRILLIANT!

  • When this constitution was founded 1 rep/30K people. No Women vote 15K. No minority vote 12K No minors vote 6K/1. Today a house member rep 750K/1 and No minors 500K/1. Staff members @ 25K for 435. It should be 5K Reps &15K staff. The rep would then be beholden to his constituents rather than the special interest PACs and 527 groups along with the media. The founders one of which, James Madison, fought hard against raising the rep total to 50K from 30K 750K is absurd.

  • nitan you are represented in Congress dummb ass. Run for office, vote for someone else. You elect everyone from you dog cather to tax assessor to sheriff to state rep to US Senator.

Quit your lunatic insane crap that you dont have representation. No one ever had MORE represention - in the history of fucking earh.

  • The South actually hated States Rights --

The Civil War was really the violent attempt by Davis Toombs, Yancey and others to spread slavery to the territories. They hated the States Rights candidate -- Douglas -- because he advocated those new states vote on slavery.

Slave states didn't allow real voting in their OWN states -- and they sure werent going to allow iin the west.

Davis and others detested the idea that states decide things for themselves.

  • interesting indeed. you know as well as I do that only way to "restore" the Constitution to for the States to leave the union, we both know that the feds are not going to give up there cushy chair job. You get a 5/5

  • So we really are not represented in Congress because they changed the constitution? How do we fix it?

  • hey, now there's a solution! real representation!
