Eine Botschaft an alle verdammte Intriganten, Bastarde die es fast in jeder Familie gibt. Die schmutzigste Sorte von Menschen. Budd ist eine unschuldige Opfer.

@JMorr1029 just another idiotic observation from another "it's the easy way out" type of person. why does anything to do with budd dwyer even "matter" to you anyways?? what would you rather do, be raped in prison and be miserable the rest of your life? or not live at all? no one ever said the hard way is necessarily the better/smarter decision..

@EightyFourFilms B4 I left Pennsylvania in sept 2010, I was starting to get involved in local politics. I was meeting a lot of folks who were also involved. I can't tell you the number of times a Penn politician told me stories of how corrupt the state government in Pa is. Known gnagsters are currently in power in Harrisburg.
Pa is so cut off from the rest of the world that honest people seem to always meet with disastor.
I sure wish something would happen to end mafia rule in Pa.

R. Budd Dwyer claimed he was innocent then shot himself, (his letter to the press said that he hoped his suiced would cause a further investigation into his case)
so my question is, was his case ever looked at again?
was he truely a victim of the corrupt (mafia run) Pennsylvania justice system?

@bugsycline All of the followup legal attempts were blocked by the courts. His case fell into this grey area (since he died and was never technically sentenced) which made any future legal action difficult. Overall I think he killed himself as a warning to others that the injustices he faced could happen to anyone, anywhere.
