I just got done changing my shafts. The right one was easy to get out, but the left one...it took 8 people to try to get it out and 3 days. Finally got it out today!. The transmission was molded around 75% (like the one in the video)of the axel base }: ( Talk about a pain in the arse! We almost had given up but a Cat's-paw claw bar did the trick : D
Didn't hardly have any room to even get behind it.
hey where can i get the exact same tool you are using. please reply as soon as possible. thanks

Its a clutch fork for an S54 manual transmission(1991), same tranny used in mr2's camrys, and celicas, so i suppose a junkyard could get one for you. Hell, napa may even sell new ones

Its a used clutch fork, and no it is not damaging anything. If you want to be on the safe side, weld a bar to it and pry with it rather than hammering.
