It has been the year when we are reminded of our inner longings and passions. We the new generation of youths, born and raised in a new era of globalization, have been emerged in the business world that our fathers have never experienced, and bear greater ambitions and eagerness to make an impact on the world.

The past year has been a great year for China embracing the Olympics for the first time. However in the face of the global financial crisis after a series of domestic incidents, we realize that this emerging economic power might as well be a fragile one. Challenges and opportunities are destined to pave the nations future path leading to the new economic rules and regional cooperation, where youths are bound to play a critical role. The SPARKLES Organizing Committee would like to gather youths from all over the world together with partnering companies, to live up to our business visions and dreams in the world. Through studies on crisis and opportunities, entrepreneurship, industries and impact making, we would like to identify key elements that drive transformation and development in the financial crisis. Delegates will be enlightened by their peers and external representatives to take on globalized views and localized actions, and therefore to make a positive impact to the society as the Change Agent.
