one of the reasons electric cars are still not coming in fast is that they can be made by relatively simple parts, eventually everyone will be able to build their own.

proof of this: look at all these pretty suvs, WHY in the world do they go out of production after so short time (even one year for one of them you said), when the only thing that is wrong with the car is the ENGINE!

just make a better engine then! why not? because it is INSANELY expensive to make the molds for the outer parts!

I want a Honda Fit , myself. It's small and it has a lot of room. Just like the Tardis~! 8D

And yeah, it's not manufactured for off-roading, but they are pretty good at it. Driving one on the road, like, for every day use... It's a waste of money, really.
