Sorry but is not a "gypsy dance" typical spanish song. The composer Pascual Marquina Narro was from Zaragoza (Spain) and wasn't a gypsy. Is a torero's Pasodoble (bullfighter pasodoble) but not a gypsy Pasodoble...I CAN TELL YOU CAUSE I'M SPANISH. ;-)

The woman in Red, is a member of André's crew. Although people still react to this surprised, alot of people who have been to André Rieu many times notice this. It is those little running gags, that made André Rieu so loved and famous.

Nice video. Thank you for posting. Loved the bull chasing the red dressed lady, but the best really is that the rhythm captures Spain's most enduring music. If you have been to a bullfighting ring you will realize that this is an obligatory piece and really captures the drama of the sand and blood that is a bullfight.

Love the music, but don't like blood sports, be it in Iraq or Spain!
