A compilation of cutscenes from the Russian game Pathologic, developed by Ice-Pick Lodge (the ones that did The Void).
-The introduction to the game itself. An ominous prediction of things to come.
Features: Victoria "Kapella" Olgimskiy, Mother Keeper, Spichka, and Mishka
We move on to the opening videos for our three heroes. When beginning the game, the three playable characters present themselves to the player and request that you choose one of them ("untie their hands"), each for their own reasons.
-First: Daniel Danvokskiy, The Bachelor. A doctor from the capital who seeks "the cure for death."
Features: Victor Cain, Alexander Saburov, "Big" Vlad Olgimsky, Maria & George Cain, and Eve Yahn
-Second: Artemiy Burakh, The Haruspicus. He is returning to the town after receiving a worrying letter from his father.
(No note worthy characters here)
-Third: Klara, The Devotress. She awakens in a grave, with no memory except a surreal dream.
Features: Laska and Katherina Saburov
After the character chosen and scene set, we learn that the town is being consumed by a deadly disease. You have 12 days to find a cure. At the end of each day, the mysterious theater owner, Mark Immortal, hosts a pantomime centered around the main events for that day.
Night 1: The disease, the Sand Plague, has taken its first life.
Night 2: Our heroes set out towards the same goal, but drastically against one another.
Night 3: Daniel must make a decision, Mark watches on.
Night 4: The death total continues to climb ever higher.
Night 5: Artemiy's situation continues to worsen.
Night 6: Klara performs a miracle.
On Day 8, the Inquisitor from the capital, Aglaja arrives. Disappointed by the state the town is in, and the lack of progress made by our heroes, she begins her own investigations.
Night 8: Aglaja seeks the truth.
Night 9: We begin to see the true nature of the towns occult tribes.
On Day 10, General Bloc arrives. The army has sent him to destroy the town, if necessary.
Night 9: General Bloc assumes control.
Night 10: ...
Night 11: Judgement must be passed.
On Day 12, you will stand before the General and Aglaja and decide the town's fate. Of the fours possible endings, I've included the "Bad" ending for the game.
Nice description. But the second character is named Artemiy, not Artiyem. ;-) "Artemiy" is pretty much the Russian version of the rare male name "Artemus".
