I have always liked the OWI535 robot ARM. At only $30.00 it's mechanically a great value for the dollar.
I wanted to create a completely open source system to control the ARM from a PC or BASIC Stamp, or anything with a serial or USB port.
The OWI535 is controlled by a TI Launchpad with EMGRobotics Six Pack Booster plugged in.
