I don't understand why anyone wants to use wig shine to actually make their wigs shiny? I'm trying to wear out all my wigs (including dusting them with baby powder or soaking them with detergent) so they can look duller, because the wig shine is what tells everyone your hair is fake. Also, I thought the metal brush with metal ball tips and stems are best for the wig because plastic brushes create static and causes the ends to fluff up with use?

The brand of wig shine she has is not oily or have a greasy look. Hmm, you got me thinking because back in the day, wire brushes were actually wig brushes.
