  • do you ever take the yak down the nestucca or the sandy for steelhead?

  • @IMKINDOFABIGDEAL13 Haven't hit the the sandy, but the 'Tucca is quite do-able, as is the Clack.

  • @TheN0thing i have never had a boat of my own but i have kayaked in idaho before and it was a lot of fun. haw much should i invest in a good yak and what should i look for? i live in gresham so was thinking bout going down to next adventure and looking at a few sometime soon. are these fishing kayaks more stable than a whitewater style sport kayak?

  • @IMKINDOFABIGDEAL13 you should post a thread on ifish on kayak fishing and how to get started, that is if you are an ifish member if not you should join, its free. ifish dot net my name on there is lucasmorter

  • @IMKINDOFABIGDEAL13 i'm on ifish, as well as a number of other local kayaks fishing guys. After a few years, i've gotten a bit burned out on forums, and don't frequent them all that much

  • @IMKINDOFABIGDEAL13 Your investment is directly linked to your pocket book. I HIGHLY suggest checking out Next Adventure. I love the place and their staff is well tuned into kayak fishing. Tell them Isaac or The Nothing suggested checking out a few kayaks there. I don't know your budget, but my favorite kayaks are the Ocean Kayak Trident 13 and the Hobie Outback. Two different kayaks on very different budgets. Both are VERY stable, which is what fishing kayaks are all about. They also do demos

  • Getting me all excited! Great video and I love the fact tht you aren't shy of sharing great information. I look forward to 2012 season. I may be too late this season, no ff, dry top or VHF radio. Thanks for sharing I will look up all your tutorials. Thanks.

  • @tydengr That's a 6" King Cocahoe Minnow. In Portland you can find that at any of the Fishermans Marine stores. I'm sure you can find them on the coast too...
