Hi there! Here's the blog I promised you last week. Yesterday I had to have surgery to get my gallbladder removed because I have what's called "bililary dyskenisa"(sp?). My surgeon was Dr. Peter Ng. He did a very good job. He told me that my gallbladder was chronically inflamed and it was good I got it out when I did. I have about 4 incisions on my stomach since it was done laprascopic.---Thanks god for that part!

Until then I'm off work till next Wednesday the 22nd of July.

Talk to you guys later when I find out the details on July 28th from the consultation with Dr. Enochs on the 28th for the lapband surgery.

Bye!

  • Hi!

I just came across your vid. I'm 17 and have to have my gallbladder removed. I'm scheduled for the 13th of this month. I'm petrified. I've never had surgery before and I feel like with my luck, i'm gonna be screwed after the fact. I'm so scared. Just thought i'd put it out there, lol.

    Hope you feel better soon!

  • Im happy to hear ur good.. I just had my gallbladder out about 2 weeks ago.. and Im still having pain from the top incisions and anything I eat goes right through me and im always feeling sick.. the pain from gallbladder isn't there ne more but its been 2 weeks and I still can't fully stand up straight without a back brace on. ur incisions are different from mine. but your better than I am so I gotta give u props cause my second day I was still drugged up and in pain mostly in my shoulders.

  • I just found out from my doctor (one of the top doctors in the world) that I can't eat a lot of oil from now on, or fat. I had to cut meat from my diet, which makes sense because I can't digest fat like I used to. Please let people know out there that we are prone to heart disease now if we continue to eat fat, as we don't have a gallbladder to digest it! Thank you so much, and thanks for your videos.

  • cool! had mines out last year in november=)

  • I am 14. And I also have to get gallbladder surgery. I am wanting to get it this summer. Because that way I dont have to miss school. And that sort of thing.

  • i just came across your video, and im 19 and had gall bladder surgery 4 months ago, you had it easy, because i was in surgery for 3hours, and i didn't recover or eat for 2 weeks, i was in so much pain... i have two scars from it, and im just glad i got that dang thing out, it was painful before and after! hope
