I was told by my farrier in early 2007that Reese would always need shoes. He was tender, his walls were thin, he had stretched lines and tripped constantly. He went 2 seasons with shoes and his hooves declined terribly. I HAD to do something! Then we found Pete Ramey! My husband and I started doing our own trimming in April of 2007. Now 18 months later, Reese is not only barefoot, sound and happy, we competed in our first 25 mile Competitive Trail ride last weekend and he was a machine! This video is before and after our ride. We also did a 12 mile CTR in early Sept and a 20 mile fundraiser easy going ride in Mid Sept. I never worry about his hooves anymore. YIPPEE!
Correction & Clarification on Video: In 18 months, we have about 1,400 trail miles logged - doing approx 100-140 miles PER MONTH since May of this year before the ride.
