'The Evolving Power of Social Media in Business' -- Session by Extentia CEO Umeed Kothavala

Sept 9, 2011: At this recent event, Extentia CEO Umeed Kothavala addressed an audience from the Institute of Management Consultants of India (IMCI), and the MIT School of Telecom Management (MITSOT).

This joint learning session was organized by these institutes at MITSOT in the MIT Campus, Pune. It covered what social media is, reasons for its popularity, its potential for business, and how to get started through this medium.

There were compelling reasons given for why businesses should consider social media, with statistics for its relevance to them. With over a 100-strong audience in attendance, there was a lot of enthusiasm, with a lively Q & A segment at the end.
