Combate a Fome e Miséria (Josiah Brasileiro)

This is a school project that I helped my nephew do for social studies. It is about the fight against poverty. It is an entry to a contest. The prize is a laptop.


The text in the video says: "The fight against poverty can only begin when Man-kind cares about the needs of his neighbor"

I believe that the concept is clear; giving and caring for one another is the only foundation to serving the needs of humanity. this does not mean that we need to give recklessly, but to care enough to share of our resources. sometimes that can be to teach or to help someone reach their needs. At times it can mean to feed the hungry or cloth the naked. but hunger and nakedness are only representations of the deeper needs of humanity.

I wrote this song on Thanksgiving, inspired by a conversation I was having with a friend of mine, Ethan Sares, while we were playing the mandolin!

Este Video foi feito como projeto escolar e estudos sociais. Eu fiz com meu sobrinho Josiah Brasileiro para um concurso de obras que expressam o combate a fome e a miséria. A ideia aqui não é entender que dar comido ou roupa é a solução, e sim que a necessidade da humanidade é de querermos o bem da sociedade e preocuparmos com as necessidades dos nossos semelhantes. Isso pode significar que levarimos alguem para uma fonte onde eles mesmo oderão se ajudar. Mas a improtância esclarecida nessa peça é que precisamos uns dos outros, e não podemos ser egoistas, ou desprezar pessoas que podem precisar de uma força.

escrevi a música no dia de ação de graças. A letra diz:

Não ficou como planejei
de tantas decepções

Meu café da manhã foi caprichado
E já estou certo de um jantar bem quentinho.
