  • To me this is the best 1960 Astro Boy eppy ever!

  • @CartoonPrincess15 I'm glad you're enjoying it!

  • I love the sounds made when he's walking XD

  • Gotta love those squeeky boots!!

  • If this is a black and white show, what's with the red and blue in the background?

  • They only did it for this one episode, but I'm not sure why. It adds to the effect though.

  • @abigailg93 Sorry, I wasn't either, I just sorta broke into a rant >.>

  • @UTAU53Yui Hey, I was just asking why. I wasn't trying to be mean about Astro or anything.

  • I love how they replace how the boy will DIE since the bomb is his true self, with some nonsensical "They'll rebuild me and I'll never see you again." Yay censorship!

  • @abigailg93 Because Japan isn't embarassed about bringing out the cuteness in little boys, much of which us obese Americans brand as feminine and gay. They have eyelashes because, hey, normal little boys all over the world have long eyelashes. Girly Astro is awesome. His voice is even higher pitched in the original.

  • I hope that asteroid was still far out enough so that the pieces would fly out around the planet instead of raining down billions of burning rocks and frying the atmosphere.

  • GIANT ANTS?! SURE WHY NOT! XD

  • @WingedMushroomOfDoom YAY SQUEEKY BOOTS! XD

  • 3 episodes were combined into a theatrical movie called "Mighty Atom: The Brave in Space". They were "The Phantom Space Ship", "The Moon Monsters" and "Attack From Space". Colored animation was obviously possible in theaters and had been done for every feature-length animations since Snow White started it all in the 30's. That's why The Moon Monsters was also in color on the box set.

  • @sygo7g u mean Walt Disney he's the guy that taught them that

  • @abigailg93 the creator of astro boy wanted him to be a girl does the answer your question
