  • Great Job! But you did, btw, overprime it quite a bit, which is why it ran so rough after startup.

  • yes i believe so. The POH says prime until fuel flow is indicated, which is what I did in this case, however I think only 2 or 3 seconds is really required.

  • Give the guy a break - refering to checklists is a must, maybe until you have 1000's of hours not hundreds. He had passengers and was taking the whole thing seriously, and thinking safety. nothing wrong with that.
