Hi again,
I wrote earlier (I am the one with the HP MediaSmart EX475)...I just installed the HP 3.0 software upgrade. I am having issues with major lag & freezing-up. (I already disabled Twonky by the "Stop sharing"option)...I would appreciate any help you can give me...

@bratsplash17 You just need to reinstall the HP MediaSmart Connector software. Type in "hpserver:55000/" in a browser where "hpserver" is the name of your MediaSmart server.

Is there a way to wake up the server from by remote access when the server at home is asleep? thanks.

@mono1342 With the server OFF, you cannot get to the WHS website. The website is the key to using WakeOnLan type Add-Ins and the WOL features of all PCs on the network.
I guess if you could remote in to another computer (assuming you left one on) within your home network using something like Remote PC then you could use the "Wake Server" function in the WHS Connector on that PC. Either way you are left having to leave a PC on so you should just leave the server powered up and turned on.
