The Campbell's Soup tower has dominated the skyline south of King's Lynn for five decades but on Sunday, January 15, 2012, the famous landmark was blown up to make way for a new Tesco Extra store on Campbell's Meadow. Hundreds of people woke up early, wrapped up warm & braved the cold weather to watch the tower fall.

  • @paulbarret1984 im very cultured thankyou i can count to ten in french and german.

  • @Nazihunter1979 I think suggesting getting rid of the south gates and the red mount is a bit different from blowing up campbells soup factory! They've been here a hell of a lot longer, and are better looking buildings. It's not a case that I need to "let go of the past", I think maybe you should get some culture!

  • @paulbarrett1984 i think you need to let go of the past mate.

Wow, you for real? How can you say that about the Southgates and the Red Mount? They're true King's Lynn hertiage!

Campbells was a ugly concrete building, I grant you that. But the other two? No way!

  • Good riddance to an eye sore, why dont you do the southgates and the red mount while your at it!

  • That's my hand holding that phone lol

  • "its falling the wrong way!" Brilliant! Not what you want to hear....
