FOR MAC USERS

download the following two files, use iphone explorer to get to the SystemVersion.plist and drag to desk top and use plist editore to delete the releasetype and beta strings and drag back into the CoreServices folder and reboot :-)

i cannot get this to work, after i put my wifi, it tries to register, and i believe i followed the video correctly...to be clear, do i need to be in beta 2, and then jail break beta 1 both times i access redsnow? PLZ HELP

@H20Hybrid whenever you use redsn0w, always use beta 1. And make sure the .pliat filemsaved after deleting the ReleaseType and Beta strings.

@lilg650 go to System/Library/ CoreServices/SystemVersion.pli­st, delete ReleaseType and Beta, save as a .txt file, delete the original .plist, drag the new .txt file into the CoreServices folder and rename the .txt to .plist. then do a tether reboot
