When I was just a padawan, not more than a pre-teen
I rid my middle school troubles with a daily routine
Each afternoon I'd watch my Star Wars VHS
And jump into hyperspace to a galaxy I loved best
I was a student of the Wars and learned about the Force
I loved Mark Hamill and his lightsaber of course
Yoda taught me do or do not, there is no try
And Han showed that a Tauntaun is warm on the inside
So when it came time for the Special Edition
George cleaned up the trilogy like a master technician
It was slicker and cleaner than I had first seen it
But some of the changes were strange I must admit
There were digital Dewbacks and Greedo shot first
"Lapti Nek" was gone and Jedi Rocks was the worst
But when George cut the Yub Nub song
The ending of the trilogy just felt so wrong

Yub Nub means freedom, this was the Rebel's call
But it got replaced with "Victory Celebration" y'all?
I hated this change, it made me so angry
I could've ripped off an arm like I was a Wookiee
But that was a long time ago, I've had my growing pains
And my love for Star Wars, shoot, remains the same
So now with the Blu-Rays, people start complainin'
They say they're fed up and their interest is wanin'?
So what if Ewoks blink and Vader says noooo,
I'm ready to roll with The Maker and you fakers can go
If you really think about it you'll begin to see
You can't hang on to how things were from the time when you were 3
Look, George is an artist and artists create
He's gonna try to improve his work so don't start to hate.

Jennifer, I think what Lucas is doing to the films is a complete atrocity. I'm not here to debate that, though, merely to question the legitimacy of a statement made in this video. In your video, you accuse those who feel the way I do of being hypocrites; you say you'd like to see us do better. I don't "think I can do better." I also shouldn't have to; I'm allowed to dislike a movie even though I'm not a film maker.

Lpti Nek and Yub Nub were TERRIBLE!!! George made the movie better. Jedi Rocks was great... it adds spunk, I will admit the new NOOOOO is bad, i think instead of adding NOOOOOs George should change the one in episode III
