There was no one in the vehicle when the Fire Department arrived. The property was already a total loss. Why rush in and put them at more risk then they already are. They can take the little bit of extra time and verify they are all packed up right and get the hoses layed out the way they want. At this point they arent saving anything anyway.

I know the owner of this car and she had children in the car and was lucky to get out it happened so fast. Faulty Wiring.

good work by the firefighters.

wavefool, just so so you know the fire wasn't close enough to be a true threat to the gas station.Couple that with the fact that the wind was pushing away from the gas station so any hot debris is unlikely to reach. The car is also on a slope so any liquids would've collected past the station. These are all observations that they make within seconds. So as mentioned before it is a car fire. There is no reason to rush into harms way. The car is already totaled pretty much when the fire started.

The danger of a fire at a Gas station is high, extremely high, and FF's risk their lives daily to keep the danger as controlled as possible. It's their job. I know that when they heard an alarm about a gas station fire their hearts kicked in and they said oh shit we better go handle this. I'm pretty sure they didn't say let not take any unnecessary risks. If not them, then who?

my little sister works there as a starbucks person but other than that holy shit!
The car was a total loss already, and there was nothing in danger, it's not worth risking a FF's life by taking unnecessary risks.

Nice job on the video, I like that you commented on the heat from where you were, think about the heat where the FF's are.
