Mandy Schendel wins Miss Washington Teen USA 2008. Now attending Azusa Pacific University, Mandy is the founder of the six-year old company The Difference Maker Organization (www.thedifferencemaker.org) and is pursuing a career in law. Mandy has been involved in pageants for over 10 years and is a 3-time state titleholder (for National American Miss, American Coed and Miss Teen USA) as well as 1st runner up at nationals for NA Miss. Mandy recently presented Darrell Scott (father of Rachel Scott, who was the first student to be killed in the Columbine High School shootings) the Outstanding Difference Maker award at the Washington State PTA convention, for his tireless efforts with Rachel's Challenge. This is a program that is brought to schools around the country promoting tolerance and peace among its students.
