San Diego Pride is
one of the largest gay pride celebrations on the West Coast. And not only that, the San Diego Gay Pride Celebration is embraced by the entire San Diego community. Want proof? The annual three-day celebration, taking place July 28-30, attracts people from San Francisco, LA, & AZ over 300,000 people to Hillcrest, North Park, downtown and Balboa Park, both gay and straight.

  • Amazing .. from dj karthikbab

  • @Karthikbab Thank you!

  • I don't understand. What's wrong with civil unions?

The Government can't force a church to accept a marriage. Am i wrong?

I understand want of equality under the law for finances/legal reasons but why "marriage?" I don't mean to be insensitive, can you explain to me?

  • I have no problems with civil unions.

  • nope 2 from brazil had to add em cause was awesome..couldnt find any SD crowd pics :( thanks..!!

  • On the day of the parade it's a great day to shop at the Whole Foods cause you get the whole store to yourself while everybody is out on the street watching the parade. We understand the Mayor of San Diego is now ok with same sex marriage.

  • i really like that rainbow eyeball....you did a nice job here! yay i know a talented person!

  • i d remember what year it was but i was in the actual parade i was in this shakira thang and i was like 10 at the time haha i luv my big bro yeaya pride

  • In Palm Springs they have Gay Pride Parades :D I though Palm SPrings held the reputation of having the largest celebration? Oh well, no matter.

  • I think the point is that the government feels it has to somehow make our relationships "different" and in our country "different" often means "less than." And although every claims that civil unions provide the same rights, they actually allow for institutions to discriminate. In the University of Hawaii for example, a gay male couple was denied housing in a "Family unit" because they were not married (they did have a civil union).
