International por LTTE attitude to be changed 05 06 2009

Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe has said that the Sri Lankan Government is geared to change the pro LTTE attitude of the international community.
Participating in the Thulawa programme telecast by ITN yesterday, he said foreign missions should be strengthened and Heads of State be appraised about Sri Lankas view. A dialogue should be started with the Tamil Diaspora. They are infused only with the LTTE propaganda. They should be contacted and briefed on the islands programme and the bond they have with the LTTE shattered. If not Minister Samarasinghe said they might influence certain countries not only to complain to the Human Rights Commission, but also to the Security Council.
