JR's grin expression always for me made the show that more powerful.

Also: Notice his vulnerability expression before he says thank you and until he grins.
Before Wendell and JR became enemies, they set up _____ .

Side note: I was gonna include the conclusion theme, but it sounded off, like film was worn or something. I noticed this on I think 3 or 4 episodes of the series.

From episode - End Of The Road pt 2

  • JR Ewing the man you love to hate.

  • @DixieDevil Exactly.

  • I think he was making a deal to sell Ewing Oil, in the event that Jock and Miss Ellie divorced. They patched things up, therefore JR reneged on the deal. Wendell then made it his mission in life to stick it to the Ewings.

  • @southern2716 Maybe, I cant remember, I thought it was the one where he was trying to setup Bob to sell something to Wendell and go back on other deals he had. Either way, gotta love the grin that became custom.

  • Alright, spill the beans, who are JR and Wendell setting up? Barnes?

  • @fmarti1 Bob.

  • @MrJacMac1986 larry hagman actually drank alcohol on the set all day which eventually led to his scirosis of the liver in the early 90's.

  • @MrJacMac1986 No is the real stuff at least for Hagman

  • Go JR ! Go JR !

  • Theyre probabaly just drinking coca cola

  • @79Testo That was never really explained. Also, when Dallas started, it was noted that JR Ewing was worth $100 million. Considering that Jock owned all of Ewing Oil then, that seemed to be a very high net worth for JR. Jock had only recently stepped down as President and CEO of the company. JR must have been paid tens of millions of dollars per year to acquire that much wealth. Surely his share of the Ewing trust fund would not have amounted to $100 M, otherwise Bobby would be that rich also.

  • @southern2716

How can he sell the company if it belonged to his father?

JR did this to save the bigger piece of the pie for himself so his mom would not get any part of Ewing oil I take it?

  • JR's smile at the end was priceless! JR Ewing is a legend.

  • J R was cool
