These are such classic T.V. Sci-Fi/Horror episodes! I remember every Friday night at 9pm, my family and I would get into the livingroom and watch what monster Kolchak would have to face next. The new series is awful and nothing but an X-Files rip-off! Why must people always try to make something better by copying something else's style! Bring back Kolchak, but newer and creepier! What about a Chupacabra episode? Werewolf covens? Travel the world! See some hidden monsters! Anyone agree?

Kolchak rules. I know X-Files was spawned from Kolchak, but it just doesn't get better than the man in the birdfeeder hat.

I wonder if Darren McGavin knew he was becoming an iconic and much loved figure, from Mike Hammer and Riverboat to Night Stalker and Christmas Story, or did he just approach each new role as just another job? He must have known how popular he was.

I'd like to see maybe Jeff Goldblum, James Spader, or even Judd Nelson, take on the role of Nightstalker & Karl Kolchak! They could play his grand-son, great nephew, or even son. They'd have a bunch of their namessake's files, stories, and photos to help them along and could even work for the son of Antonio Vincenzo at INS! All well, if we wroted for t.v....
