The Pink Panther Techno Remix ( Tribute )

This is my fourth tribute to one of my favorite cartoons in the mid-day program. The Pink Panther Show was a showcase of DePatie-Freleng animated cartoons from the 1960s and 1970s, prominently by David H. DePatie and Friz Freleng. The television series was produced by Mirisch Films and DePatie-Freleng Enterprises, and was broadcast on several American networks.

Doug Goodwin composed the show's theme music, and this show was "hosted" by The Pink Panther and The Inspector. Each show included bumper sequences featuring the Pink Panther and The Inspector together, as well announcer Marvin Miller as an off-camera narrator talking to the Pink Panther.

Thr opening sequence showed a ten-year-old boy driving a rocket car from the countryside to the Chinese theatre, and then letting out the Pink Panther and the Inspector. Like most Saturday morning animated series' of the era, The Pink Panther Show contained an adult laugh track.

this makes me think of that one episode of Dexters Lab when Dee Dee and Dexter are basically battling it out to get the lab which ever color they want (pink vs. blue of course)...perfect music too :)
